Heart rate zones are different intensity levels based on your maximum heart rate. They help you train at the right intensity for your fitness goals.
The most common formula is 220 minus your age for men, or 226 minus your age for women. However, individual variations exist.
It depends on your goals: Zone 1-2 for recovery and fat burning, Zone 3-4 for cardiovascular fitness, Zone 5 for maximum performance.
